The box is different now than it used to be. It is wider and the color is lighter. Reading my review from a year ago, it looks more like what was sold as "beige".
It is ok except for the velvet inside that has no body and is no longer rich black but a matte lighter black - it is less complimenting to the jewelry.

Attached is a picture showing the kraft box TECH-864 beside the beige box TECH-143, as I wondered about the difference between them before I bought them.
The beige is bigger, as written in their description, and a bit more difficult to open because the lid sits lower. But they are both good boxes.
The Kraft is brownish with a bit of blackish fibers. It has a simple aspect, adequate to certain projects.
The Beige is wheat color with some more visible whitish fibers that give it a slight bit of a texture. In comparison it looks fancier. Surprisingly it compliments even golden items.
